Templates Advanced Settings

Divide time, customise labels scan, estimated time, tasks AR definitions, and score on responses.

Within the template builder, you can access the template's advanced settings. There it is possible to configure the following topics:

1. Divide time
2. Customise labels scan
3. Estimated time of the work order by tasks
4. AR definitions on tasks
5. Score on responses

To access Advanced Settings click on the gear icon on the template builder.

1. Divide time

In the template header, you can determine the estimated duration of the work order, but by default, it is configured for the general total time. By accessing the advanced setting you can enable the "Divide time" option that allows you to split the estimated time by:

  • Value Added
  • Non-Value Added
  • Waste

Access the advanced settings and activate the "Divide time" option.

You can then select the time unit in which you want to estimate the time (seconds, minutes, and hours). By default is set in minutes.

Once you've activated time division, you'll see that in the template header, there will be three time entries and a total time field, instead of just one.

2. Customise labels scan

On the template's advanced settings, you can choose if you will read a label code as a character interval or with a special character delimiter when scanning it during the execution of the future work order.

Access the advanced settings and click on the "Customise Labels Scan" button.

A new side menu appears where you can customise the labels scan. There you have a switch button that allows you to change between single entry and multi-entry.

Single Entry

In the single, entry you can configure to scan the label code indicating that a specific group is identified by an individual character or an interval of characters of the QR code.

Examples:

Task Group 1 = character 3

The character 3 of the QR Code represents a label in the group 1.

Task 1 = character 3 "until" 5

The group of characters from 3 to 5 of the QR Code represents a label in the group 1.

Task 1 = character 3 "and" 5

The characters 3 and 5 of the QR Code represents a label in the group 1.

Multi-Entry

In the multi-entry, you can choose to read your code with a special character delimiter. You can select the first and last character where your special code starts and ends. By inserting the delimiter you will split each code.

Note: A delimiter is a field separator character, between each of the fields in the code.

Example:

You have this code with special characters: TYBFEA01ELDD05935210*AG*CP*DW*DX*EE*EG*EJ*EL*FC*FK*GL*WC

To scan the code present in this part: *AG*CP*DW*DX*EE*EG*EJ*EL*FC*FK*GL*WC

You will configure the label like this:

- First delimiter: 22

- Delimiter: *

After you have configured the label set, just click on "Apply".

3. Estimated time of the work order by tasks

Define the total time of the work order by estimating the time for each of the tasks included in the work order.

Access the advanced settings and activate the "Estimated time of the work order by tasks" option.

After that, you'll see a new "Estimated duration" field appear in the header of each task where you can estimate the time needed for that task.

4. AR definitions on tasks

Configure the AR settings for each task.  You can, for example, define the type, color, size, and behaviour of the task markers.

Access the advanced settings and activate the "AR definitions on tasks" option.

Then, you'll see a new  "AR definitions" section appear in the header of each task where you can configure several AR definitions.

5. Score on responses

Attribute scores to work orders by grading with a specific score all the answers on a work task. At the end, you can access the final total score of the work order. It is possible to access score information in real-time and also in reports after the procedure has been executed.

This enables performance monitoring capabilities of certain procedures such as 5S Audits or TPM (Total productive maintenance).

Access the advanced settings and activate the "Score on responses" option.

Note: The score functionality is only available for multiple selection and selection inputs.

After enabling the score, a new score field will appear in front of each answer option.

By changing the value of the score for each answer option, the "Max Score" will automatically update.

Note: The "Max Score" varies according to the question type. For example, in a multiple-selection question, the max score is the sum of all possible answers, while in a single-selection question, the score is only the score of the selected answer.
